Clear Creative have produced a wide range of marketing materials using a variety of reprographic techniques. One of the most important aspects of reprographics is a full understanding of the processes that deliver the final piece whether it is in print or on screen.
A critical area of any print process is colour management.
We use a tried and tested colour management process that has been defined by Heidleberg. Our printed material is designed from start to finish using colour profiles.
Reprographics for print are by standard based on CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow and black) and spot colour. They have a limited colour gamut to that of RGB (red, green and blue). RGB are the colours you see on a computer monitor or television.
There are so many variants that can affect colours such as gamut range, light temperature, material quality and origination resolution that colour management and reprographics can simply be mind-boggling if you don’t know what you are doing.
It has taken years of experience at Clear Creative to understand colour management and reprographics. We know the limitations of design and reprographics to a given process.
There isn’t a photograph that we don’t colour balance or image manipulate.
If you don’t understand your traps from your chokes or your Hex colours from your screen rulings then give us a call to see how we can help your reprographics.
